Mobile Repair

We offer many services within our Mobile Repair Services, such as screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port replacements, & more. However, there are restrictions as to what I will and won't work on, as well as some work that needs extra parts due to the way the manufacturer designed and put together their devices!

Devices I won't do repairs on:

I won't do repairs for many reasons on devices, whether its because I can't get parts in, or the device is too difficult to repair either because of my skill to do so or the expense that comes to the customer, I can't do the repair. Here are a few of the current examples I have run into:

1. I can't repair internationally bought/imported devices: Usually these types of devices aren't sold in Canada, and neither are their parts, so we either have to resort to buying parts through Amazon or Ebay, which takes significantly longer to come in and are significantly harder to work on costing you, our customers, to pay more in the long run.

2. I refuse to work on tablets: Tablets are one of the most difficult types of devices to repair because of the risk of damaging many components that make them work. There are some Surface Tablets I will do work on but it isn't often I will take one on. The work is usually way too long to do resulting in a high time cost for our customers.

3. I can't do Screen-only repairs on Android devices: This one is because it takes far too long to do the repair in this manner and with screen-only repairs the part may not fit properly into the old, damaged, frame resulting in a unsatisfactory repair.

Rejection reasons may vary for repairs, but these are the most common ones.

Repairs I have to warn about:

The repairs I have to warn about specifically have to do with the reason of the cost on some repairs, and some issues that may come from them. Those types of repairs are:

1. Iphone Xr and newer iPhone battery, front camera, and screen replacements: While I love being able to help people by repairing their devices, these phone specifically don't like their parts being replaced with non-genuine parts. I warn about these because usually they'll result in a non-genuine part warning and loss of a feature like battery health for battery replacements and potential loss of Face ID if I have to replace a screen or front camera.

2. iPhone 12 & 13 Series part replacements: While on the topic of iPhones, the 12 and 13 series are the worst devices to try do a part replacement due to the screen. Yes I will still do this job no problem, the only issue is you will be quoted on a new screen too due to the fragility of the screen. Simply put, when any kind of heat or pressure is applied to the screen, it results in glowing lines blocking the content on the device. The reason this isn't an issue with newer iPhones is because they open from the back instead to do many of the repairs.

3. Samsung Galaxy S10 to S23 series Screen replacements: When it comes to Samsung's S10 to S23 series, they started doing some stuff that makes "Just doing a screen replacement" nigh impossible without also ordering a new battery, front camera, and back glass. You won't get charged for the back glass as I order it to cover myself; However, the front camera and battery are glued and adhered in a way that makes it almost impossible to reuse in a new frame.

4. Samsung Galaxy S8 and newer screen replacements: While this section seems similar to the previous, it's a warning of cost. Since the S8 Samsung has used OLED screens, which cost a fair bit when it comes to replacements (Usually ranging from $150 for the oldest phones to around $300-500 for the newer phones).

Parts are only ordered when requested for a repair and Screen Protectors are available with part orders for many devices at $7.99 per protector, just ask when we order parts! Everything comes from a warehouse in Ontario and usually takes 3-7 business days to get to us.
